no sound drivec full

I have no sound sound card not found?? I have uninstalled installed etc.. sais found new hardware but then balloon may not work properly.. while checking around c:drive is full full drive d:empty i barely have anything on my comp. I'm frustrated can't figure out whats what tech guy said he opend up partician? is sound card on d drive ?? im confused sound an games worked before this ying yang touched it.
Im not tech about comps but this is what i know i have
Diamond soundcard
intel motherboard chip (can't dwnload another cause c:drive full?)
don't know how to get more info on my computer sory
any ideas on whats goin on Ive already spent $$ now
