no sound dvd burner

hello all i have hp pavilion p6000.i have a bad problem with windows dvd maker. it burns great video but no audio at all! i was hoping to make my grandkids some videos for christmas and i burned one last night and again no sound. it is on the dvd itself because i checked with two other people and there was no sound from it on their players either, i sure hope you can tell me what is wrong, thank you and God bless... i know i probably havent given you enough info on my puter please dont get upset with me.

I'm a little unsure how you have things set up so I need to ask a few questions:
1. What is the source you are trying to put onto the DVD - files from your computer, or another DVD, or a home video from a camcorder etc?
2. Have you before, or are you able to test creating a DVD that you know will include sound?

 

i belong to a video club and had burned lots before, then it started just here and there wouldnt burn now the last 4-5 i tried would not and no i hadnt tried to burn something i had before i will do that now. thank u so much, God bless

 

ok i burned one i had before and it did just fine, so now i really dont understand, and cd burner works fine too, maybe download something from another site and see if it will burn? i just dont know.....

 

I'm still not sure what it is you're trying to burn, and it makes a big difference! Are you trying to duplicate on DVD by burning a copy of it; do you have some video that you download or get emailed that you're trying to put onto a DVD; do you and your friends film things on a camcorder and are trying to burn a DVD from the homevideo?
