no sound in XP

    Hi THERE ,
    I HAVE AN OLD CISNET DESK TOP THAT RAN FINE TIL IT WAS
    UPDATED WITH SP3. NOW THERE IS NO SOUND AND SYSTEM SAYS
    THIS IS DUE FROM NO AUDIO DRIVER FOUND IN SYSTEM :confused.
    IS THERE 'FREEWARE' DRIVERS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM ?????
    THX MUCH 4 INPUT :)

    Great. If you got a driver, remember to archive a copy of it off the computer so if you need it again, you can grab it.
