Well I'm on a Dell Dimension XPS, and its having a weird sound problem. Sound will start on boot up, however it stops midway through and then there's no sound. It uses the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy drivers... and everything looks okie dokie for it as far as device manager knows.... however, no sound. Sound card is good, everything should work, it just doesn't? I don't know it is really weird. Ehh other than that, not sure what other information to add... I am re-downloading the driver and going to try that, but if it doesn't work, any suggestions?

    Hi

What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

First thoughts are that the Windows Audio service maybe stopping, so enter Services and check that the Windows Audio Service is Started and has a Startup Type of Automatic.
