No Sound On My Headphones Or Speakers

    Need help...I have a logitech g430 headset and not getting any sound. When I open the logitech control panel it says no usb detected. I'm also not able to get sound on my speakers. Running windows 7 64 bit

    I solved the speaker issue. Wasn't fully plugged in at the back (had moved the tower earlier in the day). Still not able to detect headphones when I view the playback settings

    I tried the USB port on the front of the pc and back and it was not detected. I plugged in my cell usb and it works fine. I tried unplugging the usb adapter on the headset and used the 3.5 mm jacks and they work. I brought my headset to work and will try sometime today.

    Since other devices are detected, we know the USB ports are good.
    Since you have the current driver, we know a bad driver is not the problem.

    Conclusion: when you plug in the headset you see "no usb detected" . That points to a problem with the hardware of the headset.

    I opened a ticket with logitech..thanks again for your help. I believe it's the usb adaptor
