No Sound on my TV tuner

I have an all in wonder 9000, and a soundMAX digital sound card. My sound works fine with music games, etc. However when I hook my coax cable, I get visual but no sound.

I've read about an external audio cable, but there's no port for it on my video card. Do I need an internal one? Help!

 

I can only guess. I have a Winfast 2000 xp card. And in the
default settings don't work. I have to go in and change audio
on two different settings to "cd audio" in order to get audio
from playback and record.
