no sound on web pages

    hi can anyone help me? i have no sound on any web sites that i go on .ican play music and cds dvds with no problem.but when i try to play a video clip on a web site i have no sound.anyone have any idieas.i have on board sound and the latest sound drivers.i have also formated my computer but i have the same problem

    hi thank you for the reply i have solved the problem it was somthing to do with the soud effect manager.ive tryed to uninstall it but i dont know how to.it comes with realtek ac97 audio divers
