no sound on YouTube only

    Everything has sound except YouTube---just stopped one day. Have 3 virus/malware programs(Avira, SUPER-Anti spyware and Glary), which did NOT coincide with losing sound. Checked ALL settings---no output on videos at all.
    HP Pavilion g6 w/64 bit OS and 4 GB RAM---AMD A4-3305M APU processor.

    Might try uninstalling and reinstalling Flash.
    I assume you have checked volume control while you play your YouTube file.

    DOA; I thank you for your time, but that didn't work. It is only on YouTube---all other audio works. Volume all the way up on the YouTube setting---When I click on my speaker on my task bar, there is no indication of output from YouTube. My volume is turned to 51%, yet there is no fluctuating bar noting increase/decrease in audio output. I'm at a loss.

    Make sure the sound is not muted in your browser.
    Open the volume mixer. I can get to mine in two ways. Clicking once on the volume icon then on the mixer link at the bottom or right clicking the volume icon and selecting Open Volume Mixer.
