No sound when playing flash files.

I think it has to do with the fact I recently installed k-lite codec pack. Anyway I now have the problem that the audio button is gone and there is no sound what soever when playing a .swf file. I tried reinstalling the driver (intergrated realtek soundcard) but no success.

Anyone know how to work this out? Maybe there is some way I need to fully clean out the drivers :/

Edit: I also noticed the sounds windows usally makes when I get a message in MSN and such sounds are gone. I choosen them also but they still wont play :\ The sound works however fine when played in wmp and sounds in games work.

 

I aslo have this problem, but i dont know what caused it, i had spware doctor and registry mechanic and read that they may have removed a file/registry key. I read that k-lite codec pack could be used to fix the problem, tried that and it didnt work. Ihave reinstalled flash, updated my drivers and can't think of anything else. Are you system sounds gone aswell, when you goto control panel>sounds and audio devices>sounds is the play button greyed out?

Does yours do this aswell?

Have you tried removing the Klite pack maybe that will fix your problem completely or in case that doesnt fix you can try a System Restore to ane arlier time before you installed the pack.
