Above is a picture of some problems I've been seeing :hammer

I switched from windows 7 64 to windows xp professional 64.

I no longer have sound coming into my computer. I have never formatted this computer so I'm still learning it. I just got this off of someone a couple months ago.

    I have a HP pavilion a6303w - Radeon HD 6750 PCIE

There is also this problem that pops up all the time too: Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio

Goldenskull I can't follow the rules

HD should be on your Video cards update i have the same thing i have to use the Nvidia driver to install the HD audio device i am sure its the same for yours Driver for High Definition Audio if you have a video card that has this then you need to download and reinstall the nvidia drivers again go to the advance mode and look closely

My GTX 550 ti has a High Definition Audio on the back so i am pretty sure yours sounds like it does as well i got confused with this all so i did not know what the found new hard wear pop up meant.Till some body on the forums pointed it out for me.

Yes you are correct. My card is a Radeon HD 6750 series. I have never had to reformat with this new PC so I'm not familiar with the in's and out's. I'm sure you know how it is when you get accustomed to your setup.

    I will check this out..

No, your sound card will be on your cpu chipset or directly just on your audio driver, not your video in 90% of normal cards. It looks like your missing your chipset drivers, and when i visit the hp site, it looks like they dont have any xp 64 drivers. Honestly your best bet is to go back to seven as its a more supported os.
