no sound

my laptop lost all sound yesterday and I cant fix it. Its a toshiba Satellite pro.
Ive been through the trouble shooter and no, mute isnt on, the thing is enabled and then it lost me a bit.
Anyone have any ideas what to do? I will love you forever. I need sound!

p.s the sound thingy is Realtek AC97 audio. the speaker is built into the computer.
P.p.s i have been surfing porn so I suspect something has gone awry there......

i also have some SRS Wow Effects thing, i have no idea if I had this before the sound went.

almost as bad as putting mute on.......I have super sound now and at least i learned how to do system restore and get really deep into my computer over the last 8 hours. I had a good mess around with device manager too, so expect to hear from again soon.
