    Hi

In device manager do you have any yellow ! marks? if so by what?

Check in Services (Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services) that the Windows Audio Service is set to Started and Startup Type is set to Automatic.

Then do the following in the order typed.

Install the Chipset driver HERE and reboot, then run the below and as it deals with the registry, just be warned that editing the registry and deviating from whats posted can cause your PC to not work correctly, so if in any doubt, get a friend whos confident in dealing with the registry to do this for you.

Download and DON'T install the following
    Audio Driver HERE
    Microsoft HD UAA Driver HERE

Once downloaded, run the below registry edit

Also in the Control Panel > Sounds and Audio properties, make sure the playback device is set to Realtek and that your volume is not muted.
