No sound

    Hi everyone. I gave my hard-drive to a 'Technician' to fix and when it came back I had/have no sound. I am thinking he has disabled somewhere. I know there is a droplist to startup programmes, can anyone tell me where I go to restart up my sound pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase!!!!!!!!:)

    Tuu could you please give us more information on what did the tech do, Wat was the problem initally, did he by any chance reinstall OS

    Right Click on My Computer
    Left Click on Properties
    Click on Hardware ( XP/2000 ) or Device Manager ( 98/Me)
    Click button Device manager (XP/2000 )
    Take a screen shot of it and attach it here

    Hi. The technician took it beacuse he had to replace a faulty power supply unit.

    I dont know how to take a screen shot.

    Press the Print Screen Button on Keyboard
    then open MS Pain and Click Edit and Paste
    Then Save it and attach it here

    Try also to check the following configurations:

    Start - Settings - Control Panel - Sounds and Audio Devices
    Volume tab:
    don't tick off Mute option
    Speaker Settings area - go to Advanced - Performance tab - hardware acceleration has to be on full.
