no spooler service

    Hi

    Sadly not as easy as that I'm afraid, but some thoughts and questions for you to try and help us help you..

    1. What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?
    2. What Printer make and model?
    3. What error messages do you get if you try and print?

    Things to try

    1. Update Windows
    2. Install the latest printer driver for your model printer
    3. Check Device Manager for any yellow ! marks and if you have nay let us know what they are?
    4. Check in Services (can be found via Control Panel > Administrative tools, or if Windows Vista/7 by typing Services into the start search box and making sure the Print Spooler service is Started and its startup type is Automatic
    5. Could run the steps HERE

    Hi!! I may be entirely out of it, but this is what I use to get my HP printer to work!! I've been watching this thread and not many responses, so thought I would post. First screen after fix. Second screen before fix. After fix all is well!!
