No Task Manager

I had a virus and illiminated it.I used will over 5 different programs.As I was checking everything to reassure me that the virus was gone, I then noticed that my Task Manager is not popping up when you call for it.I went to the Recycle Bin to see if I deleted it, But I turned it off in order to get rid of the virus.The Task Manager might off been missing before I encountered the virus.Can someone help me out?!?

 

what os are you using?

 

Have you tried beginning with "start", then "run", typing in "taskmgr", then enter to see if it will re-start it?

 

Are you sure you are virus/malware free?

Can you get into the registry?

Start, Run, type in: regedit (press enter)

Then go to the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\system

If you have a key listed as DisableTaskMgr and it has a value of 1, change that to a value of 0. Then reboot the computer.
