I'm running Windows XP Home Edition....with SP2. When I try to use Add/Remove Programs....none of the programs that populate the list have the "Change/Remove" button next to them. The only one that had the button next to it was "google tool bar"...which I don't recall installing in the first place....but who knows.

I'm also having a wmi update problem with Norton...which doesn't even allow me to open Norton....but I assume the problems aren't related.

I have no Idea where to begin...so any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    I have the same problem.
I don't have a solution, but there are some clues here.

I do have some that have the Change-Remove buttons. These are one that are newly installed by download or updated by download. I also notice that the program CClean (on this site) only shows the same programs in its Uninstall function as have the buttons in Add/Remove.
It seems that the uninstall function for the not shown programs has been lost?

If you find a solution please post it here and I'll do the same.
    Thanks!
