No Video but MoBo POST and CPU Gets hot?????

    Hey all. I just seemed to be plauged by computer problems. I have a machine that I think has a fried Motherboard but I am not sure.

    The motherboard POSTs and the CPU gets hot, but I have no video. I have a standalone GFX card, and I tried one of my spare ones taht I kno works. But it is not working. Does anyone have any Idea's on what happened?

    If your monitor is an LCD then check the connections there. Although the vga/dvi plug screws in, the power cord does not. Since most LCD's plug in upwards from the bottom, I have seen power cords work loose enough to still show the power led light on the front of the monitor but no screen backlight, try pushing it in.
