No Video on New Build

So my new rig isn't posting. When I turn it on it runs for about 10s, restarts itself, and runs indefinitely. It won't post, won't give me any beep codes. I tried the RAM in 3 &4, then 1 in 3 and 1 in 4. I tried it with no memory at all and same thing, no beep codes, no posting. I called ASUS he had no suggestions whatsoever other than suggesting that I send it to them to flash the bios (which I can do myself w/ the USB flash utility).
i have asus p5q3 motherboard.. intel core duo... antec 650w power supply model EA-650... with 2x2gb1600 g skill ram model#f3-12800cl9d-4gbnq and i reset the cmos so i dunno.. any ideas would be greatly appreciated..

 

Please try a different power supply and see what happens. Your power supply might be defective. Good Luck.

 

Have you double checked all the connections?

Remove everything bar the cpu, mb, and ONE stick of ram in slot 1.

Then try and boot and see if you can post.

If not, try the other ram stick, then try the first stick in the second slot, and the second stick in the second slot.

 

i took it all the way apart and put it back together last night and it still doing the same thing.. starting to wonder if something is doa but bad thing is i cant even hear the beeps from the motherboard cause it doesnt have a chassis warning speaker.. it runs for like ten seconds then turns off and back on and runs indefinately.. but no post.

 

thanks everyone for your help.. i figured it out.. took everything apart and went through it piece by piece and realized my cpu was not compatible with my motherboard... silly me...
