No video on Youtube with Mozilla

I installed Windows XP Professional SP3 on my PC and when I try to watch a video on Youtube using Mozilla Firefox for some reason I cannot view the video, I can only listen to the music. This does not happen with Windows Explorer, however... I tried reinstalling Adobe Flash Player but nothing changed.


Please, help.

 

I'm guessing you've only installed the ActiveX version for IE, http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=5163 and go down the middle of the page until you see the link "Firefox, Safari and Opera users need this version". That's what you need.

 

Let me clarify... I can watch videos on Youtube but not in full screen mode. I will download 'Active X' for Mozilla Firefox, as suggested, and hopefully that will take care care of the issue. If you believe, however, that this revised question might be related to some other issue please let me know.

If it still won't play fullscreen after installing the correct plugin/ActiveX component, you should check that you have the latest chipset drivers installed for your motherboard, followed by the latest drivers for your graphics card/chip, then install the latest version of DirectX (this the web installer for DirectX, uncheck the Bing toolbar if you don't want to install it).
