    Hi,

I got a video card from a friend, a 6800 ultra, and he told me the card isn't outputting any video. However, the fan still spins. Is it possible that the card still works, but the video output is just broken. I was thinking of just buying another 6800 ultra on ebay or something, and running the 2 in SLI. Cause if the card works fine, ill just use the one on ebay to hookup my monitor to, and have a dual video card setup. :p I had experience with something like this before. I had an AIW 7500 Radeon oh so long ago. The TV tuner broke on it, but the card worked fine. I know quite a bit different, but still crossing my fingers for some positive responses.

The fan working doesn't mean the card is OK, it just means the fan is.

If it doesn't work on it's own, hooking it up in SLI won't make it work either.

Yea I figured that, I guess I was just hoping that since power was still going through, that it might possibly work... plus the idea of getting another card for somewhat cheap on ebay and running in sli would've been nice.
