No zoom in designing a report in Access 2007

To get positioning exactly right in designing a report in Access 2007, I simply must have a zoom, as in Access 2000. I can't believe MS has failed to provide such an obviously needed facility, but I have hunted through the menus and found nothing, and Access Help is no help at all. I have come across mention of a zoom box - it appears with Shift/f2 in a table (but doesn't work) but not in the design view of a report.
Have I missed something obvious? What do I do?
