NOD32 New 4.0 Version Scans very slow

Hi,
I have been using NOD 32 Anti-Virus for 4 years now with no problems at all. Today I uninstall my 3.0 Version of NOD for the new 4.0 Version. Eset claims the new version is better and faster HA. My old 3.0 Version did a complete scan of 55,000 files in 30 mins. And now with the new and inproved 4.0 I did a complete scan of 55,000 files and it took 2 hrs and 10 mins. Has anyone had the same problem with the new version. I wrote ESET and I'm waiting for a reply,if I cannot get this problem solved I'm just going back to 3.0 ( lucky I saved the old version to a disk ).
