NOD32 Slow Scanning

Hi,I have been using NOD32 for over two years now with no problems,today I downloaded the new version 3.0.642.0 and did a full scan and it took 56 mins to run. With the old version of NOD32--- 2.70 it only took about 23 mins,anybody having the same problem. And the virus updates keeps asking me for my correct password and id,I put in the user id and password,sometimes it works other times it will not. I'm getting ready to uninstall the new version and install the old version back on my PC.

 

Well I fixed the password problem but the full in depth scan is still way to slow,with the older version 2.70 it was twice a fast.

I just received an e-mail from ESET this morning telling me what's going on. It seems the new version 3.0.642.0 does a more in depth scan than its older version. It now scans more archive files and a few other things. If I ticked off archives and others I would get the same scanning time as 2.70.
