Hi, I just bought a new gateway desktop in june, and the only time it is usually loud (internally) is when it boots up and quickly quiets down. Lately, the last few days it has been loud non-stop. I googled the problem and heard it could be over accumulated dust, or the fan trying to cool down the system, but I had it on all the time last semester in college and it never became loud. Any suggestions? Thanks.

What is loud? The fans or the hard drive?

i just cleaned it out the night before last actually...i read online that it could be a lot of dust, but its pretty much dust free now and still loud. then i turned it off for a whole night because i read that it could be overheated, and when i turned it on in the morning about 8 hours later, it was still loud.
