    Depends whether you can get to the baring. IF you can't get to the bearing, theres no point. If the baring is specially lubricated (which it may be for some reason) then adding standard oil would contaminate it and make the problem worse. However, if its a standard baring, with standard lubrication, and you can access it (through a hole usually) then a drop of oil would work.

    But the easiest option is just to buy a new one :p
