Normal CPU Temps?

Hey guys, never having used Speedfan and such, I do not know what kind of temps I should be seeing. Currently, my CPU is an AMD 4000 (Sandy) with a ZALMAN CNPS9500 LED 92mm 2 Ball Blue LED Light Cooling Fan with Heatsink attached. The CPU is not overclocked at all, and I used AS5 when installing the Fan. The Idle CPU temps (as read by speedfan) are 30 celcius, at max load (prime95) the temps jump to 47 celcius, then usually settle at 45 celcius. Is this massive difference normal for a CPU that has not be overclocked?

    Best Regards,

    David

Thats a pretty big jump. Are you sure you aren't reading the intial boot temperature of 30c, then when it warms up after running Prime95, it settles on 45c?

I'm running a 4400+ and it idles at 45c, but using two instances of Prime95 at once only jumps it up to 54c. If I just run it across both cores, it only heats up to 48c.

Much smaller jump than yours, and I'm on a stock cooler.

47c under load isn't a bad temperature though.
