Norton Anti Spam

    Hi there, I am having a problem with my outlook express and Norton spam.
    My outlook is not recognizing any of my incoming mail as spam and half of it is spam.

    Hi evilfantasy,
    I've had Norton for a long time. My email stopped working so I went to AT&T help and they got my email back working but now every piece of may goes to the inbox......I have an Ebay business so I get a lot of mail anyways. When I turned on my computer this morning I had 150 emails and only 50 of them were not spam..........Nothing ever goes into the spam folder now

    I am subscribed to Live Update, anti-spam, anti- virus, Norton Internet Security

    1Open MS Outlook.
    2On the Tools menu, click Options.
    3On the Other tab, click Advanced Options.
    4Click COM Addins.
    5Delete all plug-ins except for the Norton AntiSpam Outlook plug-in.

    I even made the spam level higher and still does not help

    I don't even see advanced options

    There are 10 tabs ......but none of them say advanced options

    Hi Evilfantasy,
    Is there anything I can click on to, to get email if someoe leaves me an answer ?

    It may not be configured correctly since you worked on the e-mail.
    You could try to run Live Update manually to see if it recognizes a faulty configuration. Other than that I am not sure. I don't want to say re-install Norton but their help pages have suggested that is what needs to be done.

    OK then evilfantasy.........I will check it out more....I did a search on spam and got all kinds of files. Maybe there is something in there or I can go to Norton's and see if I can get some answers. Thank you so much for your help. Have a great night and a super Sunday

    Hello evilfantasy,
    I went and downloaded Norton Securities and a new add on program.
    It took a long time but all is well now. The only thing is I will have
    to retrain my spam folder, better than not having a working spam folder.
