Norton Anti-Virus Question

I'm just wondering is there any way to disable Norton Anti-Virus. Because i can't update my subscription rite now due to i dont have a CC to pay. So i keep getting these annoying pop ups like every 4 hours asking me to renew my subscription. anybody know how to just shut it off ?

 

What I would do in that case, is uninstall Nortons, which hogs resorces anyways, and download one of the FREE anti Virus programs, that protect you as well if not better than Nortons. I would go to symantec.com and do a search for the Norton Removal Tool, uninstall all of it, then download one of these 2 great free anti viruses:

I use Avast myself, and love it. Alot of people here us AVG and say that works very well also. Good luck.
