norton antivirus 2003 help

    norton antivirus 2003 wont install properly everytime i install i and run it it says norton antivirus has encountered an error ,uninstall and reinstall norton antivirus.it appears as an x in the system tray.i did everything it says on there tech support. i deleted all the keys,serviuces, folders, ran remove norton antivirus 2003.exe tool.it might be because one of my services might be disabled.wen installs norton antivirus it doesnt install all the services ,so it encounters an error.i have no other antivirus or firewall installed.

    please help me.thanks
