Norton Antivirus

    I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem, I have. Whenever I try to run a full system scan, using Norton Antivirus, it brings up a window labeled "Help & Support", rather than starting the scan. Anyone know how to get back to using the scan ?

    Well, it's a bit tricky Google-wise. I mean searching for Norton + "Help & Support" triggers hits from all over the Internet.

    But in this "Help & Support" window - try to click "Activation". Then type (copy/paste) your product key. Reactivating your subscription might do the trick.

    Write them an email? All Symantec products are supported...

    No, just remembered: there are malware and vira that can shut down your security software. Go to MajorGeeks malware forum and open a new thread. The experts in here can clean your logs. Begin by reading the relevant Sticky thread. You could also run a couple of online scanners like Kaspersky or ESET NOD32. Or all of it.

    Is this a Norton Antivirus window? Also, do you have the Install Disc?
