norton antivirus

I have an uptodate norton antivirus but nearly every day it tells me I have had a recent attempt to block my computer. I have run all the updates and scans and it doesn't find anything, but when check on reports it tells me it has blocked a trojan blockhorse and a trojan netbus is my computer completely protected cause obviously a virus is trying to gain access can I do anything more to help??????
