Norton AV 2005 Error

    I used to have Norton AV installed but it was uninstalled for some reason. The problem is that about 1/2 way through installation I recieve an error saying "Installation could not be completed" with no real description of the problem. It always freezes right when it says "Removing EULAKey:xxxxxxxxxxx" (where xxx is a bunch of numbers). Someone help me please I need my av.

    When Norton is uninstalled it leaves parts of itself on the sytem. More often then not the left overs interfer with the install/reinstall of NAV.

    To remove to old install completely follow this tutorial:

    Removing your Norton program using SymNRT

    Once you have completely removed the old installation, reinstall your Norton 2005.
