norton ghost 10 recovery?

    i boot the cd at startup and during it's at norton ghost 10 recovery disk when i click recovery nothing is moving.even the dvd drive led is not lighted.it's not moving and i stuck there.did i miss anything.can someone enlighten me please.thanks a lot.

    Did you set first boot device in bios as cd?

    yes.it's bootable.

    i think the drive is not detected when i'am at the screen.i'am using IDE drives btw.

    Have you booted into ghost with the cd before and can you still boot into windows without the cd inserted?

    yes for both.

    I use ghost 2003 and not familiar with 10.You could try to burn a copy of the cd and see if the copy boots.

    btw can i use ghost 9 bootable cd to recover ghost 10 image??

    I think you can't because the extensions change between 9 and 10
    for 9 the extensions is .GHO and for 10 is not anymore....

    But you could try.....
