Problems with Norton Internet Security 2007

I am using a mpc computer. The OS is windows xp home with all the necessary updates, etc. There are three user accounts, one is password protected, the others are not.

A few days ago I installed Norton Internet security 2007. At the time, only the account (not a password protected account) I was using for the installation was active. The others were logged off. Now when I try to access Yahoo email, I can only read, delete, transfer messages normally on the account that was logged on when I installed the NIS 2007. On both other accounts, when I access Yahoo email, I can go to the mailbox, open a message, but only the email headers come through. There is only a blank space where the message should be. Furthermore I can not move, delete, or otherwise act on messages listed in my inbox when accessing email on these two accounts. To the best of my knowledge, my ability to access other information, data, web pages is not hampered on these accounts. It is only the Yahoo email. This problem did not exist before the NIS 2007 installation.

Norton has nothing listed in their knowledge base that seems to address this issue. I have noticed that there are some activeX components and dll’s listed on the “email friendly” account that are not shown as active on the other two accounts, but have no clue whether any of these may be the source of my problem.

Can anyone give me some ideas please??

    Thank you. bearbuddy
