Not sure where to place this or if it has been mentioned before. Think it should be brought the attention of the those in spyware forum.

Just to be aware that Norton Internet Security 2007 claims that it is incompatible with Spybot Search & Destroy and Microsoft's Windows Defender. When I installed this product on my Windows XP laptop after the above 2 products had been installed, the NIS 2007 install scanner stated that I must remove these incompatible products.

However, the problem with Spybot Search and Destroy appears to be related to the Tea Timer, which I normallly do not enable: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...bd905ac77882571e0005e8f21?OpenDocument&seg=hm

I was unable to find any information on why it is incompatible with MS Windows Defender. Perhaps there is a "browser war" type thing going on between Norton and MS in regard to the lockdown of the MS Vista Kernel and patents.

To be honest, any geek has a compatibility problem with Nortons. While many of their tools are effective at what they need to do, Norton products are expensive, bloated and only good for a year. The bloat factor is what turns most geeks off who prefer a computer run well.

Last I knew, it might be fixed now, TeaTimer was bugged anyhow.
