My NIS is being weird. It won't let me enable Security. Everything is disabled and my MSN won't work either. It says i do not have enough 'user privileges'.

    What the hell is wrong?

Did you enable NIS profiles? Open NIS and under User Accounts check what you see there. Which versino of NIS are you using?

I must have gotten hacked a while back because my Norton Intrusion Detection Device would not stay initialized. Checked the Norton website and didn't find much to help me, so I uninstalled Norton alltogether, turned off system restore, reinstalled Norton, turned system restore back on, and everything has been back to normal. When I originally purchased my Norton download online I paid extra for a service where I could download more times, if needed...that paid off.

I'd like about 5 minutes alone in a room with the little yokels who continually try to ruin our great Internet resource.
