Nor. I. Sec. has a pop up message that mim.exe is attempting to connect to a DNS server. I like Musicmatch, and have no problem with anything that program would attempt. So I select Always allow connections, but it keeps popping up and won't go away until I select Always block connections from this program. What gives?
PS Now that I have written this question, I find that selecting Always block connnections...does not work either. It refuses to go away

 

Do the following and post the directory the file exists in.

1. Start
2. Search
3. "All Files and Folders"
4. Type "mim.exe"
5. Click the down arrow next to "More advanced options"
6. Check "Search system folders" & "Search hidden files and folders"
7. Click the "Search" button

Then look for the directory the file exists in and post that here.

 

in C:Windows/Prefetch
also C:\ProgramFiles/Musicmatch Jukebox
also C:\ProgramFiles|Musicmatch Update\MMJB

 

Try going into your Norton Personal Firewall Settings and Adding the mim.exe in maually and see if that fixes your issue.

Question in the meantime does MusicMatch works even if you block it?

 

I tried permit all, and we will see how it goes. Musicmatch works fine for all I want to do with it, just want to eliminate the annoying popup asking if I want to allow it. Thanks for input.
