Norton Live Update

I just downloaded Norton Avtivirus 2005, rather than renewing my subscription for Norton 2002. (Actually cost less, too) Now, I cannot run the Live Update. I closed Zone Alarm thinking that perhaps it was blocking the site, but the results were the same.

Any ideas?

 

What actually happens when you try to update it?

How did you remove 2002?

Did 2005 install and work okay apart from liveupdate?

 

I deleted 2002 through add/remove programs, but have since found a link to delete remaining files from the registry. Haven't done that yet.

The error was LU1803.

The rest of 2005 seemed to download properly.
