Norton Removal Tool?

Has anyone tried to use this lately? "Norton Removal Tool (SymNRT) - [2007-01-22 | Freeware | 770 Kb | Win 2K/03/XP/Vista | 220123 | 4.49 ] Uninstalls ALL Norton 2004/2005/2006 products from your computer."
I got to it from Geek's homepage, then under "Anti-Virus" from links on left side of page under "Files". When I try to run it, it keeps saying that "this version is expired", then gives me a link to a Symantec webpage that tells me I might need to check my PC's date/time...which I've checked & is correct. Hoping this is the right forum to post this in. I believe this program is one I've used in the past that really helped me. I had bought a new laptop & spent over an hour on the phone with Dell trying to get it online. It took me only a few minutes to get online after finding & using this "Removal Tool". Any ideas as to why Geek's link won't work for me presently? Thanks to any & all in advance! Shanrene

I've had numerous issues trying to remove all traces of Nortons from my desktop/laptop. I just found this software in majorgeeks called Advanced Windows Care2 Personal, freeware. I ran it and it found some entries in the registry that....................
Norton's Removal Tool did NOT....!
