Norton Still Showing on Spybot Search & Destroy

Hi everyone.

I have a problem, well I do not know if it is a major problem or not.

Ok well when i first got my computer a friend put norton antivirus 2005, i did not want to use it anymore, so i went into add-remove programs and deleted norton from there. All successful is removed. Iam now using Mcafee Internet Suite and have been for the last 3 months (all working fine).

But everytime i run Spybot Search & Destroy it comes up that I have to fix "Windows Security Centre AntiVirusDisableNotify" - "HKEY LOCAL MACHINE SOFTWARE" and the same about a Firewall.

So therefore I dont know if this means Norton is still on my computer now, or what the problem is. Should I just leave it alone, iam just not 100% sure.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Spybot is just notifying you that a 3rd party app (mcafee) has taken control of telling you whether or not you have an antivirus running or definitions are out of date, instead of MS security center complaining about definition updates are out of date, etc...

Note: If you did not have any antivirus program running, then this would be a virus/malware issue.

You can either ignore this, fix this with spybot, which then mcafee would complain, or modify spybot from checking this.
