Norton System Works

Hi, can anyone give me advice on how to remove norton system works? ive tried from Add/Remove and also from within programs>norton system works>uninstall and its still there, my recycle bin is still norton protected, is there any tool available that will help me uninstall it.

things have gone from bad to worse, i cant get on internet anymore, cant system restore, cant do anything without getting window error message, has to close down, send notification to microsoft.... ive even tried in safe mode no luck!

 

My Sympathy Ronnie,
if you can receive this my recommendation is to format and start again. I ignored the advice of an old guru about the perils of Norton way back in the W95 era and to my regret I found that everything he said was right round a year ago when in W98 Norton started to stupify my system. I was a bit luckier because I was running W98 and managed over a period of months to lever the remains of System Works 2000 out. I think that with XP Format and start again is the only answer. If Symantec can read this - You should be ashamed of your crummy over priced software AND lack of support when the crap hits the fan!!

looks like when i try and use the above links to uninstall norton it then when it wont let me onto the internet, email etc, i get the attached error message, so i have reinstalled norton and now the internet, emails etc are working... but this leaves me with Norton Anti virus, norton internet security and norton system works on my pc along with Avast and zone alarm, which are the only two i want to keep.
any ideas

 

LOL I had the same problem when uninstalling System Works 2003, what a disaster of a project, Im never buying norton again
