    how do i get norton antivirus off my computer? it is not listed in 'add/remove programmes' confused

    If you look on programs, norton, you should be able to uninstall from there.
    Ther is a norton removal tool available, I believe it is on majorgeeks downloads.

    use ctrl+alt+delete and kill any norton processes running
    Go to c:\program files\
    and delete the norton folder in there
    Then go into the registry editor and search for the string "norton"
    delete anything that comes up

    Then install Nod32 and never look back.
