Norton?

    I just removed norton antivirus and ther is something called norton wmi update on my list of add/remove programs can i remove it to?

    Yes! It's safe to remove this update. This update was for SP2, it was to tell the Security Center in WinXP SP2 that you have a Norton product installed and its status.

    I would run the below to be sure everything was removed.

    Download SymNRT, save to your desktop. Double click to run the program, follow the on screen insructions then reboot once complete.
