not a valid signature

I just got an Itouch for xmas, anyways I found out that I have to download the newest version of Itunes or 7.0, which I tryed downloading 7.5 and It takes FOREVER to download and it reached 48% and my internet cut off (Dial up) big mistake?
Ok so I RECONNECT, then I try to go to the Itunes setup in my documents to try to resume downloading it and it says: itunes7.exe is not a valid win32 application!!!????
And So Ive tryed to download I tunes several more times after words and it takes hours for it to even reach 37%
So what could I do about Resumeing it, if I have it saved!!!???
Its VERRRYY agravating!!!=/cry

The first error is nothing to worry about in this instance. The second effectively means the itunes.exe file is corrupt - probably caused when your download fell over. You'll almost certainly have to get it to download in one hit.

Note that itunes 7.5 needs either Vista or XP to work.

Are you downloading it from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ by the way?
