not able to uninstall earthlink

Hi,

I had problems with sasser and a couple of other virus. I don't know where they came from but now I think I have it all clean. I recently downloaded earthlink and also recently cancelled roadrunner....now installed again. We deceided we needed high speed afterall since we have a web site. I was and still would like to have dial up in order to see how the site downloads but will try something other than earthlink. I have tried to delete in the add/remove and earthlink will not delete. I have windows XP. for a while we couldn't even get the puter to do anything but shut down repeatedly. I had to shut it off till someone could help. I had to delete 100's of infected files. we has the sasser, bobax, nachi and agobot. Does anyone have any suggestions how to delete all earthlink off the puter? I'm not very literate so give details/specifics please.

i suggest you download tuneup utilities ( http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=3891 )
and run the unistall manager, and then the registry cleaner, that should solve your problem. also, i reccomend exploring a bit with tuneup utilities, maybee you will want to buy it, it is one of the best system maintinance programs i have used

 

Thanks for the suggestion and I did it but I still cannot uninstall earthlink. Any other suggestions?
