Jeez what is the world coming to.......the scammers are not even trying anymore
See the crappy introduction email sent to me quoted below

If this is true then I better fill in my personal details on the link in the attachment to claim my million $$$$$........
Talk about a piss poor effort......where is the tempting story so you click on the link....where is the back story about the death of some wealthy mining magnate in Nigeria with no relatives and I coincidentally, have a similar name and with some inside help, can claim the inheritance.......or the tale of the wealthy Arabian prince who needs to borrow someone's bank account in another country in order to transfer a fortune out of some country and you can keep 30% of the total as a thank you for helping.........or the bank manager that has a dead account that will soon be closed and it is still holding several million $$$$ after a trading company closed down suddenly and nobody has claimed the money for 7 years and if he gives me the details to claim the money then he and I can split the proceeds 50/50 and if I don't help then the account will lapse and the money will go the the government.
Crikey in the older scams there was a bit of a tale showing they made some effort.
Oh well here goes... after launching the attachment (on a VM) it has a bit of a story about a sudden and unannounced VISA promotion worldwide and as luck would have it.....my email address in conjunction with my VISA card number has won the million $$$ and to collect I need to present my VISA card for verification after filling in all my other personal details.............bad news......... I haven't had a VISA card or VISA debit account since 1998 and with no card to produce........ there goes my winnings

The real story.......Nothing on TV tonight so I had to waste some time while I waited for an urgent phone call
