Not mp3?!?!

I have an mp3 player (that plays ONLY mp3s). The only problem I have is, most of my music files are .wma files, and not mp3s and thus cannot be stored on my mp3 player. How do I save files (from cd) as mp3s and not .wma (or else convert them)?

*Note: Of course, I'm running XP Home....the software for my mp3 player in MoodLogic v2.71.

 

Ummm...I need an answer to this fairly quickly, people. Pppplllllllllzzzzzzzzz help me out. *crosses fingers*

 

What software are you using to rip? If you are using Windows Media Player, that's the format that you will get. I use Creative PlayCenter, but I'm not sure if this comes without a Creative Labs product. I'm sure someone else knows of a good free ripping software? Someone should help you out soon, good luck!

You might want to try www.download.com, or there's probably something for ripping on this site!
