rocks!! It costs $40 for the program or you can get a trial that leaves a watermark at the top corner and only records 5 minutes. Works great! All I did to make the video last more than 5 minutes was add them together in a stream (cut and pasted using MovieMaker). But I inevitably bought the program. It worked better than Cam Studio in that it did record streaming video from my screen. It will also do audio if you have a mic hooked up. But I didn't need that. zdsoft.com Try it out.

I used it to record video from a GOM player of video that was only supposed to be seen using proprietary software. Didn't need it although I did have it loaded in another laptop. Cam Studio only showed a black screen.
