Not Sure My Pc Is Booting. No Pic When I Hit Power Button.

Pc specs:
Operating system: windows 7 professional
motherboard: Asus P6 t v2 deluxe
Cpu: intel core 17 920
Graphics card: Nivida GeForce Rtx 2060
24 gigs of ram. I dont remember it off hand.
Lg Flatron E2350 monitor

--So my pc has been giving me trouble and i recently re seated the ram because that sometimes helped. Not sure if it would have in this case but it was worth a try.
--Im not sure where the actual problem is. I found a loose connector and fixed it because the ram bank is right next to some of the cables. Its a snug fit.
--For some reason the last time i booted up my pc if i unplugged and repluged in my Hdmi cable into the graphics card I got picture and could boot up the pc. But I have had to do that every single time i want my pc to work.
-- I was having problems previously with the picture blanking out for about 30 seconds too. Idk why.

There may be more issues but thats what i remember off the top of my head. I have had this pc for around 10 years and its been a mostly faithfull friend with some minor teething problems sometimes.

 

In the first instance, have you tried using another (known working) HDMI cable????

There could be several other possible reasons for this, one of which may well be that the HDMI port on either the vga or monitor may have issues.....

 

I think i may have solved the problem. I had to re seat the ram again because it was only registering 8 gigs which is 1/3 rd of the ram i have. Its still only registering 20 out of 24 but i will take it. Also i have only 1 HDMI cable and only 1 port on this card. I will see what happens when i have to shut the computer down again and let you know if it still is not working properly. Ty btw for the reply
