    Hello...:wave
I was wondering, after endless searching on the web,
yet NOT KNOWING, what it's called
to even be successful at finding a solution,
if anyone here knows what the text bubble is
that appears every time my mouse pointer (cursor)
hovers over text, links, images, etc...
    Here's a screen shot example..

It is very annoying rolleyes and sometimes even covers some of the text I want to read and can't as long as this text thing is active..
Is there a way to disable this and not have it pop up all the time?
    I have Windows 7...
    Thank you...

Hello too! It's called "tooltips"; maybe your search will be more successful now... :cool

    Welcome to Major Geeks.
You may want that feature at some time in the future to find out what something is.
If it covers the text you are reading, just move the cursor arrow down to the taskbar, out of the way.

You may also be able to change the delay before the tooltips/infotips pop-up IF you're ok with working with the Windows Registry.
